GEORGE ENGLISH PARK

I was inspired by an author of Nature books to visit at least one park per week in my neighborhood, then I switched it to the county, Broward County.

With the weather being so gorgeous, I may add another park depending on the size of it. But this week’s park is George English Park in Fort Lauderdale.

The water was so mesmerizing and calm..you’d hear a fish every so often jump out of the water. The waves it created slowly drifted until they crashed against the rocks.

There were Iguanas sunning around the bank of the lake. I seen two different types but this one reminds me of a dragon! It wasn’t in any hurry and it barely moved when I walked close to it.

I could have stayed there until the sun went down…just me, nature, my thoughts and the wind.

What is the name of your favorite park or thinking spot?
